TJENU (Thinis)

Founded in Pre-Dynastic times, Tjenu was the capitol of the earliest Dynasties of Egypt. Tjenu was the 1st capitol of Egypt, unified by Menes (Narmer) before it moved to Memphis. There is still debat about where Tjenu was as it has still not been found. Most agree that the modern city of Girga is where Tjenu was.
