      Thoth :

The Lord of Magic & Time, the Holder of The Eye of Horus, the moon god of law & order, of wisdom, science and the art of writing, the consort of Ma & Nehmetaway, the father of Neferhor, Thoth is sometimes regarded as the son of Ra, Thoth as another Egyptian creator god who created four deities from the primordial waters of the earliest time recorded.

Thoth became the first Egyptian scribe and the keeper of records for prosperity, because he was the first writer he invented hieroglyphics, easy for the children of the Nile to understand, Thoth also helped Isis reconstruct Osiris, he took over the position of Ra when the sun-god ascended into the heavens.

He took it upon himself to stand on the prow of the mythical Manjet, the sun-barque of Ra, to defend the children of the Nile against invasion and to ward off evil spirits. Thoth is depicted as two separate creatures, the mountain ibis, or as a baboon and judge at the portal of the underworld.

The Hapy & The Island Of Bigeh.

He was born of a virgin who was impregnated by a moonbeam.

      Bata The Egyptian Shepherd :

He lived with his elder brother Anpu and Anpu’s unfortunately nameless wife, Bata could not resist trying to seduce his sister-in-law, when Anpu got knowledge of this in the fields, he wished to kill his brother Bata, but an ox impeded Anpu’s angry path. Bata fled the house, but his brother was in hot pursuit.

A Egyptian female deity filled the Nile with crocodiles, as the irate Anpu could not cross the river to Bata on the opposite bank, so Bata apologise and made good his escape to the Land of Acacias where the human soul lived in eternal blossom. Here the Egyptian female deity gave to Bata a beautiful wife.

When the Pharaoh heard of Bata’s otherworldly wife’s beauty he sent many precious gifts to her, seduced by the words of the Pharaoh, she left Bata for a life of luxury in the Egyptian Court of the Pharaoh, a High Priest transported all of the Acacias to the gardens of the court, which in turn left Bata totally broken-hearted.     –             (I suppose the moral of the story is not to defecate on your own doorstep).

      Osiris :

The supreme god of the dead, of floods, the harvest, the sun, the underworld and all vegetation. He married his sister Isis and when his father abdicated and split the Egyptian Kingdom into two, allowing both Osiris & Set to rule, but Set desired to be the ruler of all his father’s kingdom.

Osiris’ symbols of authority were the flail and the crook and he is depicted swathed like an Egyptian mummy holding these implements of the field-worker and the shepherd. When artists depicted Osiris this way, he was called by the Priests Asartaiti, ‘he who is swathed’.

Osirianism : The worship of Osiris, this creed and set of prayers offered the promise of redemption and life eternal as against the prospect of being far from the Egyptian afterlife in a lonely existence.

The Backbone of Osiris : The axis on which the world rotates, the same as the Norse Axle Tree, regarded as forming the centre of Earth that everything spins from. Asar or Asir, where very ancient names for Osiris in the pre-dynasty days of early Egypt.

Anubis : The Dog-Headed Or Jackal-Headed God of Embalming the dead sons & daughters of the Nile.

It is said the Anubis weighs the human hearts on the scale of justice, Nephthys had no children by Set, but she was seduced Set’s brother Osiris who fathered Anubis, after the birth of Anubis, Nephthys cast the infant in a basket into the Sea of Reeds, where he was found and raised by Isis, the sister of Nephthys.

Anubis as the originally Sphinx, the Sphinx by certain Egyptologists is regarded as a winged monster, part woman and part lion, with the tale of a serpent, however others see the Sphinx as the body of a dog, not the form of a lion, the face we see today, is the face of some debatable Pharaoh, the nose was broken by invading Muslim army and not Napoleon’s cannon.

Most probably the ears of Anubis eroded over millennium and the Egyptian masons under the guidance of the present Pharaoh change the appearance of Anubis, to the meaningless image we see today. The Hall Of Justice & Of Two Truths, the Egyptian Netherworld where the souls of the dead are examined by 42 judges.

The architectural number of the magic cube, Egyptian & Greek mathematicians love the Pronic number of 42, that relates to the Planet Earth is so many different mathematic equations, one, went so far as to call Planet Earth, Water Planet 42.

      The Goddess Isis :

The Star Of The Sea, The Goddess Of A Thousand Names, The Goddess Of The Moon, Medicine, Fertility & Motherhood, associated with the precious gems of Emeralds & Turquoise. The daughter of Geb & Nut in some versions, the sister of Nephthys & Set, the wife of Osiris, the mother of Anubis & Horas.

Isis was recorded as a shape-changer, she found Osiris & Set fighting like bulls and she separated them with her strength, when her husband Osiris was placed into a box and thrown into the River Nile by his feuding brother Set, she rescued the body of Osiris, and mourned for him in the form of a bird.

In another story about the feuding brothers, when Set butchered his brother’s body into fourteen pieces, with her magical-science she collected all the body-parts and brought Osiris back to life, some theorists believe that Osiris was an android !

Isis & Nephthys are known in Egyptian Mythology as ‘the weeping sisters’, referring to the wailing at funerals of the African women at this time in history, she found the infant Anubis in the rushes of the Reed Sea, and she raised the boy as her own. Isis is also credited with making the subterranean Earth Snake of Energy from Ra’s spittle. Isis is represented in the night sky as Sirius.

      The Goddess Hathor :

The Great Mother of Egypt, The Lady of Byblos & Faience, The Turquoise Lady Of The West, The Goddess of Fertility, Child-Birth, Joy, Love, Marriage, Music & The Turquoise Cloudless Sky. In some versions she is Ra’s daughter by Nut. Hathor is the consort of Horus.

She originally was a war-goddess of the Nubians, confusedly identified with both Sakhmet & Isis, Hathor held a heavenly ladder leading to the sky, she suckled the first Pharaoh and greeted to souls entering the Netherworld. Because of this association with suckling the new born, Hathor is sometimes depicted with a cow’s head, sometimes wearing a head-dress of bovine horns, with the disc of the sun, depicting her father Ra.

Tasenetnofret : An aspect of Hathor, and the consort of Haroeris.
